Walk Trot Arena Horse, Trail Horse, Lesson Horse, Western Pleasure, Youth, 4H, All Around
"Jacked Up On Loot" 2015 APHA Gelding standing 15.3hh with a kind and gentle demeanor. If you're looking for a Gelding that's more woah then go this is your guy!! Jack has been used by a young gentleman with disabilities and they were always able to trust their son around him and on him. This winter her was leased out to a young lady getting into horses and he did great for her.
W/t/l in both directions, moves off legs and has a nice stop on him. He can be lazy with everything he does though and encouragement is often times needed but with an extra tap of your leg or rein he will pick it right up. Once he knows he's working his laziness does go away. Ideally he'd make a great walk trot arena horse but does pick up the lope without as much effort on trails. He was originally started in the western pleasure discipline and there's definitely a strong side of that in him yet but it has been a few years and he would need a bit of a tune up if you wanted to show him western pleasure. We've used him for lessons and put beginners on him and never have to worry about who you have on him in the arena. On the trails he can get a bit more excited at times but a head bend to gain focus again and he's back to being great. He goes out alone or with others, he'll lead or follow, stands tied nicely, good for the farrier. He does have X-rays that show improper angles so with that he has corrective shoes on and will need to continue that until his natural hoof can sustain the angles. The shoes have taken away his soreness and he's done great since! All x-rays and vet work will be passed on to buyers as well.
